The Sound Egg device is expected to change the way you listen to audio, and will aid 3 companies at the technology launch pad called CES 2010. The 5.1 Sound Egg will be demonstrated by Acousticom along with Memphis Car Audio and Dolby Laboratories at the International Consumer Electronics Show in hopes to educate consumers and influences about high-definition audio. All three companies will use the Sound Egg to demonstrate the qualities of their own products and technologies.
Acousticom has been in the Audio Industry working with the Department of Defense since 1980. They have been a dominate manufacturer of quality parts for military and civilian consumers. They utilize the same qualities with the Sound Egg creating a CE Device that will be with you for a while. It is about time we worry about quality, and less quantity. We all know how many electronics we have broken in our day…
So you wonder what the Sound Egg is? Imagine sitting in a room filled with a 5.1 Surround Sound System. I bet it sounds nice. Now take that and put it inside of a chair. Inside you ask? Well let me just show you instead of tell you.
International CES has had more than “four decades of success.” CESWeb.org acts as a portal for everything happening at the current CES Event. 2010 marks the 43rd event held by CES. CES had originated in New York City in June of 1967. Their first show comes in at 200 displays with 17 thousand attendees. A first good start, to a tradition that has held for such time – even looking strong with the market at hand.
Acousticom will host three Sound Eggs in North Hall – Booth: 4916. With Xbox 360 game play, music, and high-definition surround sound by Dolby Laboratories. Mark Cochran, CEO of Acousticom Corporation, makes note of his excitement about CES 2010. Mark states, “We are excited to be coming to CES to release my life-time dream. My goal has always been to change how the world views audio, and the Sound Egg is my tool to do that. We are very fortunate to be showcasing our product with these prestigious companies in the audio industry and look forward to the future of audio.” A CEO with a passion and heart in his product and what they do, a quality that you don’t find often.
“Dolby® will showcase novel and innovative entertainment products and give visitors the opportunity to experience and hear amazing high-definition surround sound in the Dolby Definition Lounge at the Wynn Hotel” – (www.SoundEgg.com) . Acousticom has joined up with Dolby® to help teach the technology community about high-definition sound. We can all get excited for what is to come at CES this year in the audio industry. Don’t stop at just Blu-Ray® – get a Sound Egg.
Memphis Car Audio will showcase the Egg in the North Hall – Booth: 1811. Memphis will use the Sound Egg to demonstrate their MClass and Power Reference Speakers. The use of the Egg allows them to perfectly demonstrate what their audio technology would sound like in your car.
So there you go. Sound Egg will be living up to it’s function: Making A lot of Noise at CES 2010! Stay posted for the most up-to-date information via TheHumanCpU.com as I will be reporting from CES daily.

Dolby Laboratories, like many other CES exhibitors, have been anticipating the newest audio technologies that will soon hit the stage at the grand International Consumer Electronics Show.
With that in mind, they have started their official CES twitter account which they didn’t introduce last year for the event. They have started a pretty active following keeping their fans in-tune for the major event. Check out Dolby and DolbyCES on twitter.com.
Dolby has taken the opportunity to connect with CES related tweeters and keep them up-to-date about this high-speed event. You have any questions for Dolby about CES you can send them a question on twitter.
“Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) today announced that it has been selected as a 2010 International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards honoree for its Dolby Axon desktop client software.
