Electric City Go Karts (Strikes and Spares – Mishawaka) Video
by CpU on Feb.21, 2010, under Cars, CpU Videos, Michiana, Reviews, Tubers, Video
While driving passed Strikes and Spares bowling alley, you have probably noticed the big Electric City Go Karts sign out front. If you sitting there thinking, “Electric? How is that fun?” Don’t let the word Electric fool you, they are fast and the course is challenging.
The ride lasted about 3 min and 30 seconds. This was shorter than the 4 minutes promised, which kind of disappointed me. Paying $6.00 for a ride, you’d expect every second out of it…
The cars are monitored by a central device that controls the cars maximum speed or disables them in case of a crash. I noticed on a few occasions that the car would be going slower, then pick up speed in the middle of the race. Accidents and bumping does happen on this track, so caution is necessary. Electric City Go Karts states that you drive at your own risk.

Chris Buehrle Band plays at Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City
by CpU on Feb.14, 2010, under CpU Videos, Michiana, Music, Reviews, Tubers, Video, iPhone
Chris Buehrle (Guitar, Lead Vocals) accompanied by Chris Albanese (Keyboard, Vocals), David Lill (Percussion), and Michael Lee (Bass Guitar) hit up Blue Chip Casino Friday night in this well accompanied crowed in Michigan City. They call themselves the Chris Buehrle Band and they were very impressive…
They slipped in a few of their own songs, while they generally played cover songs through out the night. The vocals set them off at the start, and keep the momentum going with some good up-beat songs.
This is some video taken with my iPhone 3G. I was not expecting to see a good live performance, so I didn’t have my HD camera with me.
So they got the crowd jumping around on the dance floor which stemmed mostly from their choice of music and how they played it in their own style. They followed closely to the classic sound, but made it their own…
I enjoyed them all night, and would love to see this band perform again.
Electronic Cigarette – Are you ready to save $$$ and your health?

“Our number one goal is to provide a safer alternative to those unable to break the grips of their smoking addiction.”
| Pack a Day | Cost Per ($) | Weekly Cost | Monthly Cost | Yearly Cost |
| 1 Pack | $5.50 (avg) | $38.50 | $165 | $2007.50 |
| 1 Cartridge | $1.10 | $7.70 | $33.00 | $401.50 |

I saw this product while walking through University Park Mall in Mishawaka, Indiana. They are located by the food court in one of the center booths. I ended up buying one to replace my girlfriends cigarette and it has worked. She has grown very attached to it, and she’s the very picky smoker that only likes one cigarette… Product passed the ultimate test – function
I found this product to be built very well, and offering a 2-year warranty means they stand right behind what they say. I like that about a company, and I hope that they do well. I will be posting video of this product soon for people who are not close to their locations to see this product.
A family owned company from Scottsdale, Arizona was founded in 2009 in hopes to spread awareness about safe e-cigarettes and how they can help you by removing the tobacco and bad materials that can cause cancer. They take pride in safety and health as they say they are “the only e-cigarette to laboratory test their cartridges.”
Although the initial purchase is not something to take lightly as the starter kit costs $120.00 at one of their locations.
But if you are going to make a purchase, the Elite Super Savings Combo is your best deal, and they will ship it to you. $199.00 includes everything you need to become an avid Electronic Cigarette smoker. You save $30.00 with this deal.
Now the refills cost $21.99 + Free Shipping online for 20 Cartridges which is considered to be 20 packs of cigarettes. You say, what? That’s a $1.00 a pack… Not possible… Well it claims to be “Puff for Puff”. I have found that it is slightly less then that, but none the less still a good savings.

American Outlaws was pretty damn funny!
by CpU on Jan.29, 2010, under Movies, Reviews
American Outlaws
Colin Farrell, Ali Larter, Gregory Smith, Kathy Bates, Will McCormack, Terry O’Quinn,
This movie was actually pretty good despite the bad intro to everything… I almost didn’t watch it in fact, but it ended up being a funny old western – modern western movie.
A story about Jesse James, his brothers, and the Younger Gang. Depicting where the western heroes came from and how they turned from going with the government to against the government.
One thing is for sure, it isn’t your typical Clint Eastwood type cowboy movie. But it sure was entertaining with the unique humor as the era’s dialect would most likely not reflex the movies “modern” cowboy.
If you like the wild west movies, watch this one. I give it a 8/10…
I tweet Trapster – Do you got an iPhone or Smart Phone in Michiana?
by CpU on Jan.27, 2010, under Reviews, iPhone
You will start noticing unique tweets about my reports from Trapster – This is why:
Something tells me you should get the Trapster application. It’s a unique app that warns you of known speed traps and live police watches. With a pretty intense database of information being sent to it at a constant basis – it has grown in areas all around the united states rapidly. The unique thing about this application is it is solely driven by it’s users – meaning you submit the information for your fellow users. They do the same. It actually works out well and it does allow communication to be enabled by choice. (Default it is disabled but allows you to “caravan” other users in local radius of yourself. Perhaps start an alliance of some sort and fight speeding tickets.) The only reason I support this application is because I disagree largely with the amount of money you have to pay for a minor traffic ticket. I know because my 5 mile an hour ticket cost me $125 bucks in Indiana. Highway robbery – thanks Mr. State Policeman.
So Trapster is available for all types of phones:
- iPhone
- Android
- Blackberry
- Nokia
- Windows Mobile
- Palm
- Garmin & TomTom
Click here to find out if your phone will work with Trapster
Not on the list? It’s okay. You can setup your regular mobile phone to send you text messages with alerts. You can also call their phone number and report traffic spots as well. I don’t know who would use such a feature but if you got time on your hands and want to talk to an operator then call away!
Now Trapster acts like your Google road map where it gets you to your location while warning you of any road hazards or police traps in the area you are traveling. It also makes good fun in the car on that long road trip across country. You never know – you might meet a fellow Trapsterers along the way!
If you don’t believe me then check out the video about how Trapster works
So if you were wondering why I keep tweeting about Trapster then there you have it. I have setup my Trapster iPhone app to be connected to my Twitter and Facebook accounts. So if you live in the local Michiana area – get on Trapster!
