The Sims 3 – Xbox 360 Guide: Getting rid of Ghosts

by CpU on Oct.31, 2010, under The Sims 3 - Guide

Sims_3-GuideGhost are inevitable, and you will find that out quick in Sims 3. But what do you do with ghosts that are in your personal space? Whether they are ghosts from your family, or unfortunate events that took place within your home – They can get annoying…

Ghost that you can’t control:

When someone dies, a urn appears and during random times (usually at night) that ghost will start running around and doing what ever it wants. Time to get rid of this ghost quick and easy. Wait till the ghost goes back into the remains urn and then pick up the urn… Keep it if you would like, but it is smart to head over to the cemetery and drop it off… You can also sell this item – but who’d want to do that…

Ghosts from your family – You are done with them!

It’s time to let go and face the music that your dead grandpa isn’t coming back. Well that is unless you get an opportunity to take his remains over to the science lab and have an experiment done on him… that’s another chapter.

There is a really simple way to get ride of the ghost and that is to activate the Sims controls, click on the dead Sim, and then send him to the Netherlands… Say buh-bye because you’ll never see your big salary again. Hopefully you earned enough dough to partner in a business so that your family can live on to become the millionaire your fell short of becoming.

I suggest having some fun with the ghosts and using them to tinker and upgrade things. You can always send them off to terrorize someone you dislike!
