“The Core – The Earth’s inner core has stopped spinning, and scientist Josh Keyes must discover why before the world literally falls apart. He and some researchers burrow into the Earth’s center in a vessel piloted by Maj. Beck Childs and Col. Robert Iverson” –Netflix

Well, sounds interesting enough… Let the movie begin! (You might ask yourself why I would be writing reviews about movies from 2003. It’s simple actually. Netflix has them, I haven’t seen them, so why not write about them too?

The movies starts off in Boston with people just falling over dead. Guess that kind of reminds me of the movie where the earth fights back and kills people. Can’t remember the name of that movie, was a newer one though.

Anyway

The movie’s plot unravels the mystery that lies within the scientists mind of the suspicious character played by Aaron Eckhart. He will do what ever he has to do to figure out what the problem really is. Even if the military doesn’t even care (What else is new?).

Anyway – They throw some unique things into this movie, I’ll give them that… Like landing a space shuttle in downtown L.A. I love movies…!

Goes to show they will do anything to make something interesting. Could just be that it is almost 2010 and this movie was made 7 years ago… But I guess that’s why it’s not called a classic!

Alright so to sum things up – it’s an interesting flick that goes through some repeated loops but still is enjoyable if you are looking for something to watch.
