John and Carolyn Tarwacki had close ties to the community and have shaken up this small town…

Halbritter Funeral Home has arranged the funeral. I will post that information soon.

The candlelight vigil was shared with family and friends in memory of John and Carolyn Tarwacki. You can see the affect they had on the community…

Police are asking anyone who might have seen him to call them at (269) 683-4411.

Final autopsy reports will help the State Police, but still are looking for any information. So far they have had over 100 tips on the case. The autopsies will not be released at this time.

SOUTH BEND — A 21-year-old man accused in the execution-style shooting of an acquaintance is to go on trial Monday.

Guest Post: Tribune Staff Report

Brandon Phillips is charged with murder and criminal confinement in the shooting death of 20-year-old Marcus Rice.

Rice’s body was found Feb. 5, 2009, in a rural area near Dorn Road. Authorities say he was killed after a drug dispute between acquaintances of Phillip’s.

For just $529.99 + only $5 shipping you can have this Refurbished Philips 1080p 42″ LCD HDTV (Ends 2/3/2010 at Midnight)

Philips is a good brand, looks like a decent price. Some fanatics would say that it isn’t the best, but you also aren’t paying $1,000 to $1,500.

I have a Philips LCD T.V. and I am very impressed with its quality. Now I don’t have this exact version, but their technology is well worth 500 bucks.

Please remember that this unit is also refurbished, and some people will find that iffy. Since T.V.s are expensive and sensitive – you should check the return policies to insure your own safety…

The remote is not difficult if you understand instruction and colors. Some people find it confusing, and I don’t see why… Anyway – Check it out on Woot.com
